I would recommend the current generation GTX 460 for DirectX11 benefits. The 460 is also smaller, draws less power and is cooler at idle and under load.

Palit also has a nice offering at the GTX 460 level the Palit GeForce GTX 460 Sonic Edition which you can find cheaper than the Sonic Platinum which is the same card with a factory overclock. You can find a review of the Sonic Platinum and other 460's here:

http://www.hardwareheaven.com/reviews/998/pg1/nvidia-geforce-gtx-460-graphics-card-launch-review-introduction.htmlComputer Techspothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17548351880785514815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5729207670054523342.post-70824353482407733182010-08-29T20:34:06.716+08:002010-08-29T20:34:06.716+08:00i have a question how much a performance gap is th...i have a question how much a performance gap is there between the GTX 280 and a GTX 460

http://viperman240.blogspot.com/Vipermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16645574825654456696noreply@blogger.com
